RV Recalls for December 2025

1. Jayco, Inc.

Models: 2025 Melbourne; 2026 Melbourne Prestige; Entegra Qwest

Safety Issue:Incorrect gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR), gross axle weight rating (GAWR), and gross combination weight rating (GCWR) listed on certification and cargo labels. This could cause owners to unintentionally overload the RV, increasing crash risk.

Manufacturer Action: Jayco is mailing corrected certification and OCCC (Occupant and Cargo Carrying Capacity) labels to owners free of charge. Owner letters were mailed December 16, 2025.

2. Keystone RV Company

Models: 2026 Impact and Carbon with patio railing kit

Safety Issue:Some patio railing kits may be missing essential hardware — including angle brackets and footman loops — meaning gap panels can’t be properly secured. Unsecured panels can shift or detach, posing an injury hazard.

Manufacturer Action: Colorado RV Service will install the missing hardware at no cost. Owner notification letters were mailed December 22, 2025; VINs will be searchable on NHTSA.gov starting January 28, 2026.

Safety Issue:Incorrect weights listed on the Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) and Tire and Loading Information labels. Misleading label data can lead to overloaded trailers or incorrect tire pressures.

Manufacturer Action:Colorado RV Service will replace incorrect labels free of charge. Owner letters were sent November 14, 2025.

Manufacturer Action:Tiffin will mail corrected labels free of charge. Owner letters were mailed December 4, 2025. VINs will be searchable on NHTSA.gov starting January 16, 2026.
